The BCS team attended the Georgia Mining Association Annual Convention in Ponte Vedra Beach – a wonderful few days of education, sharing industry news, and fellowship with our customers. Seth Spurlock, President of BCS, began his term as President of the GMA at the close of this annual meeting. Here is an excerpt from Seth’s message to the industry:
“It was an honor to be elected at the recent Georgia Mining Association Annual Convention to serve as President of GMA. Our industry is dynamic, filled with wonderful people and continues to have a significant positive impact on our communities and the state of Georgia. For over 30 years, I have had the privilege to work in the mining industry, getting to know many of the industry founders and the current day leadership; we are surrounded by many gifted people. The Georgia Mining Association plays an important role in assuring that our industry remains a vital part of our economy and I hope to continue our record of success.”
