The Georgia Mining Association recognized BCS for our safety record at the 2021 GMA Convention. BCS worked 11 years, 11 months between 01/2009 and 12/2020 without a lost-time injury. This achievement in safety is a representation of the impact and focus of the BCS Safety Program. As a chemical manufacturer, safety is of utmost importance and the program strives to maintain this record in the manufacture of biocides and polyacrylates at our plant in Sandersville, GA. New tolled products or contract manufacturing projects are thoroughly vetted and all new chemistries and processes evaluated before implementation. We take this approach to product stewardship to our customers as well; our sales team completes training on proper application of biocides and dispersants – developing in depth understanding of applications like water treatment, preservation of paints, coatings, slurries, construction materials, mineral slurry dispersion. BCS is honored by the recognition of these efforts.
